Overview
Director, Product Management - Threat Detection at Corelight. Lead the Security Content product line from strategic vision to market success.
Responsibilities
- Define and champion a compelling product vision & strategy for threat detection across Corelight's portfolio. Understand the market, attacker TTPs, and customer needs to build and align around a detailed strategic roadmap.
- Drive innovation to develop novel data sources, network-derived threat intelligence, and advanced ML/AI-based detections. Manage contributions to open-source communities like Zeek and Suricata.
- Lead cross-functional execution across Labs (Research/Data Science), Engineering (Appliance/SaaS), and UX to innovate, build, and iterate on product features with direct customer feedback.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure successful product launches and drive adoption. Equip the GTM team with the narrative, tools, and training they need to win.
- Build a world-class team — recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing group of product managers focused on delivering exceptional security value.
Minimum Requirements
- Passion for cybersecurity and a track record of building innovative products.
- 5-10 years in product management leadership, with a history of launching successful technical products in enterprise security.
- Strong understanding of the Network Detection & Response (NDR) market. Fluency with IDS, malware detection, network forensics; familiarity with Zeek and Suricata. Knowledge of threat detection techniques, network analytics, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Excellent communication and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented leader who balances long-term strategy with execution needs.
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience; MBA is a plus.

Compensation
The compensation for this position may vary by location, skills and experience. A portion of compensation may be commission-based or discretionary, with equity and additional benefits awarded. Compensation Range: $243,000—$327,000 USD
