Account Director - San Francisco Bay Area at BairesDev

We seek a Senior Account Director located in the San Francisco Bay Area to strengthen our executive team. As a strategic leader at BairesDev, the Account Director will cultivate enduring partnerships with clients at the C-suite level, founded on comprehensive insight into their technology business objectives. You will lead transformational growth strategies while overseeing critical client portfolio relationships and uncovering new market opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Establish enduring strategic partnerships with clients and introduce our organization to prospective/recommended clients via consultations, understanding their objectives and priorities.
  • Develop Account Strategies and deliver reports on revenue expansion/team growth metrics to the Global Account Manager or Account Directors consistently.
  • Perform industry analysis to discover growth potential and evaluate client requirements, understand customer objectives, and create and present proposals for relevant solutions.
  • Actively pursue new possibilities via client recommendations, professional connections, and digital platforms.
  • Generate new business opportunities to expand revenue, facilitate negotiations, and finalize agreements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Staffing, Sales, Business Development) to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of proven success in sales leadership/client partnership/engagement director positions or comparable roles within Technology/IT sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in client relationship leadership including successful agreement completion and cultivating sustained client alliances.
  • Prior background as a Software Engineer (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical qualification) is highly valuable.
  • Must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Experience with the following sectors: Technology (SaaS), or Financial Services, is a strong advantage.
