Everton Homes is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to lead the architectural development of our luxury single-family residential projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for taking projects from zoning feasibility and concept design through permitting and construction documentation.
The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibility, deep technical expertise, and a builder-focused understanding of constructability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architectural development frominitial feasibility through permit Create schematicfloor plans, building massing, and elevationsfrom scratch Lead zoning and code research prior to design Interpret local development codes and planning requirements Technical Production Work directly in Revit , AutoCAD , and SketchUp Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and construction-ready Incorporate structural systems, venting, and building assemblies into design Coordinate with civil, structural, and other consultants Lead consultant communication through permitting Manage and oversee permit submittals Respond to plan review comments and coordinate revisions Required Qualifications
10+ yearsof professional residential architectural design experience Strong proficiency in: Revit AutoCAD SketchUp(for massing and elevation studies) Deep understanding of: Residential construction methods Structural coordination Constructability and detailing Strong communication and coordination skills
