Highlights of Your Role
Pricing Analyst: Pricing Analysis & Recommendation (60% of time) Craft strategic pricing recommendations for products, options, displays, and replacement parts. Analyze the competitive landscape, identifying key players, price points, and strategies to uncover new opportunities for Marvin. Work closely with Product Managers to understand value propositions and maximize pricing potential for product launches and lifecycle management. Assist in cost model reviews for profitability analysis. Provide insightful analysis for executive reviews, connecting pricing strategies to competitiveness and profitability goals. Data-Driven Growth Strategies (25% of time) Research marketplace opportunities for strategic pricing enhancements. Extract and integrate data from various sources to support your analyses. Prepare and present analysis/findings to Marketing, Sales, and Finance for decision-making. Pricing Tools Maintenance (15% of time) Ensure the accuracy of pricing inputs for the Order Management System (OMS) team. Senior Pricing Specialist: Strategic Growth Proposals (45% of time) Proactively explore and propose strategic pricing solutions to bolster market positioning. Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to enhance pricing strategies. Gain insights into competitor pricing tactics and strategies. Prepare compelling pricing recommendations for leadership consideration. Pricing Analysis & Recommendations (40% of time) Deeply analyze competitive pricing landscapes to identify new opportunities. Support profitability analyses through cost model reviews. Provide comprehensive analyses to executive teams linking pricing strategies and corporate goals. Tools Maintenance (15% of time) Maintain detailed pricing documentation. Provide timely updates for Configure Price Quote (CPQ) maintenance. Qualifications
Pricing Analyst: Bachelor\u0027s degree required, preferably in marketing, economics, business analytics, or mathematics. 3+ years of experience in pricing, product management, marketing, sales, or customer service. Strong critical thinking and effective communication skills. Solid understanding of complex business principles. Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs. Senior Pricing Specialist: Bachelor\u0027s degree required, preferably in economics, marketing, business analytics, or mathematics. MBA is a plus. 6+ years of relevant experience in pricing, marketing, product management, or sales. Proven track record of driving growth through strategic pricing initiatives.
