Overview
We are seeking a
Junior Level Estimator
to work in our Northside Jacksonville Manufacturing location. This role is a contract to permanent role and requires the candidate to be local to Jacksonville - the work is 100% onsite.
The
Estimator
will be responsible for analyzing mechanical drawings and related specifications, in order to prepare quotations for fabricated sheet metal HVAC duct systems.
What We Are Looking For
A customer-oriented individual with excellent oral and written communication skills. Prior experience in a customer service role is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under time constraints and strict deadlines.
Must be accurate, possess good attention to detail, and be proactive in pointing out potential issues.
Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). AutoCAD experience is a big plus. Open and eager to learn new softwares is desired.
Prior experience understanding product specifications and mechanical blueprints a plus.
Previous HVAC industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Must be self-motivated, positive, and punctual.
We are willing to provide on-the-job training for a highly motivated candidate.
