Analyze documentation to identify missing items, discrepancies, red flags, and conditions; escalate issues promptly to the Loan Officer and/or underwriting. Prepare and submit complete loan packages to underwriting and ensure all required conditions are cleared prior to closing. Communicate effectively with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, escrow/title, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to keep the transaction on track. Maintain accurate pipeline status in the LOS and ensure notes, conditions, and dates are updated consistently. Support compliance and quality control by following company policies and applicable federal/state regulations, including privacy requirements and documentation standards. Meet contract deadlines and help coordinate closing logistics to ensure a smooth funding process. Required Qualifications

2+ years of recent mortgage processing experience (purchase and refinance). Strong working knowledge of loan documentation, underwriting conditions, and end-to-end processing workflow. Proficiency with a Loan Origination System (LOS) (e.g., Encompass, Calyx, Byte, LendingPad) and standard mortgage documentation tools. Demonstrated ability to interpret and validate borrower documentation related to income, assets, credit, and property. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and customer service focus. High attention to detail, including accurate data entry and consistent follow-through.
