Job Description The Auto Bodily Injury Claims Specialist will investigate and settle automobile bodily injury claims, handling complex liability claims, casualty claims involving severe injuries, and coverage-related litigation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Review and determine the course of action on each assigned file, using technical knowledge to support final disposition.
Conduct thorough investigations and maintain accurate, relevant documentation for each claim, including coverage, liability status, and damages.
Process bodily injury and coverage claims in accordance with established procedures.
Collaborate closely with third parties, plaintiff counsel, the Claim Director, and the Chief Operating Officer to determine necessary investigation.
Research case and statutory law to conduct proper claim investigation.
Document policy status, coverage, liability, and damages on all claims and notify re‑insurer on qualifying claims.
Prepare and present claim evaluations for the appropriate settlement authority.
Maintain reasonable expense factors.
Handle other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
3–5 years of auto casualty claims experience.
Non‑standard auto claims experience is a plus.
Knowledge of legal and medical terminology.
Excellent negotiation, communication, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to pass written examinations required for licensed claims adjuster.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Estimated Compensation Range: $54,750/year – $97,500/year*
