Overview

BrightView is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. In this role you will support the golf course superintendent in managing daily operations and maintenance, acting as the liaison among the company, the customer representative, and the golf shop. Responsibilities

Assisting the superintendent in organizing and directing maintenance of all areas of the golf course according to the contract’s technical specifications. Supervising the operation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment assigned to the course. Procuring and managing supplies and materials to support maintenance activities. Managing golf‑course maintenance employees, providing input on interview, hire, training, discipline, and separation processes. Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, course and company policies, and fulfilling administrative duties in a timely manner. Administering all aspects of the BrightView Safety Program and the BV360 Management Program. Representing BrightView Golf Maintenance in a positive and professional manner, including appearance and public relations. Meeting or exceeding external and internal customer expectations. Qualifications

Experience in golf course management and turf culture is preferred. Degree or advanced knowledge in agronomy, horticulture, plant or soil science is preferred. Must obtain and maintain a state‑sanctioned pesticide applicator license within 6 months of entry into the position. Desired Skills and Experience

Apt awareness of construction, establishing, and maintenance practices on putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers. Aptitude for administrative and executive responsibilities, including effective oral and written communication skills and computer proficiency. Familiarity with the characteristics and proper use of fertilizers and soil conditioners. Knowledge of irrigation practices, irrigation systems, pumps, wells, automatic controls, and drainage. Ability to prepare the course for play in accordance with the rules of golf and evaluate the course from the player’s perspective. Valid driver’s license. Working Here
