Overview
The North Carolina Courage, a member of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), is seeking a
Sr. Account Executive
to join our team. This elevated sales role will drive ticket revenue and expand the reach of women’s professional soccer across the Triangle. As a member of our Club, you will contribute to an environment grounded in our Operational Standards:

This elevated sales role is designed for proven performers and closers who thrive on competition and are motivated by results. You’ll focus on outbound sales efforts for NC Courage ticket products including full season memberships, partial plans, premium seating, and large-scale group experiences. This role reports to the
Sr. Manager, Ticketing .
Key Job Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle for NC Courage ticket products including full season memberships, flex plans, premium hospitality, and group experiences.
Lead high-impact outbound efforts through targeted prospecting, networking, referrals, and creative outreach to corporations, youth soccer clubs, community organizations, and affinity groups.
Execute strategic group campaigns that align with the Club’s new Group Offer Guidelines, ensuring every group meets established thresholds, maximizes early conversions, and drives participation in on-field experiences and theme nights.
Build strong relationships with group leaders, corporate decision-makers, and local partners to create recurring annual events and long-term sales pipelines.
Act as a team leader within the department, setting the standard in outbound activity, professionalism, and revenue production.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Ticket Operations, and Fan Relations to ensure seamless customer experiences from first contact through post-match follow-up.
Track and manage performance using Salesforce CRM, maintaining precise data and insight into personal sales pipelines.
Represent the Club on matchdays, ensuring execution of group experiences, fan engagement activations, and premium client hosting.
Contribute ideas and leadership to help refine sales campaigns, group offers, and incentive structures to increase sales.
Maintain department minimum hustle metrics on a daily basis.
Qualifications Required Skills & Experience
A proven sales professional with a track record of exceeding goals — ideally with 4+ years of experience in sports ticketing, sales, or hospitality sales.
Confident in closing high-value deals with corporate clients, community groups, and premium buyers.
Driven by competition, motivated by results, and ready to lead by example.
A strategic relationship-builder who thrives in face-to-face settings and sees every conversation as an opportunity to sell.
Comfortable balancing outbound hustle with data-driven precision.
Passionate about the growth of women’s sports and excited to represent one of the NWSL’s premier franchises.
Preferred Skills & Experience
4+ years of sales experience
2+ years with direct corporate or B2B sales responsibility
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sport Management, Marketing, or a related field
Experience with a Sports Ticketing System and Salesforce CRM strongly preferred
Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue goals through proactive outreach and relationship management
Strong communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and matchdays
