Taylor Hopkinson is seeking a Sr. Key Account Manager for a major heavy electrical equipment manufacturer specialising in the design, development, and production of transformers and related HV power equipment. It ranks among the top global transformer manufacturers, particularly for ultra-high voltage (UHV) and extra-high voltage transformers, producing equipment rated from 10 kV up to 1000 kV+, with advanced capabilities at the 500-750 kV and higher levels. Its products support the backbone of power networks, including grid transmission, large thermal and hydroelectric plants, nuclear facilities, and renewable integration projects, and are used worldwide across Europe, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. This Sr. Key Account Manager

will manage and grow strategic accounts across the US and Canada. This role is designed for an experienced commercial professional who can maintain strong customer relationships, drive account growth, and support business development initiatives in assigned markets. The Sr. Key Account Manager will work closely with HQ and regional teams to ensure customer satisfaction, commercial success, and long-term strategic partnerships. Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow strategic accounts with utilities, transmission and distribution operators, EPCs, and key industrial customers. Develop and maintain long-term relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and account retention. Support vendor qualification and approval processes for high-voltage transformers and related equipment. Collaborate with headquarters and regional teams on bids, proposals, and contract negotiations. Provide customer feedback and market intelligence to inform pricing, product positioning, and strategic initiatives. Coordinate with engineering, project management, and after-sales teams to ensure smooth delivery and service for key accounts. Identify opportunities to expand account business and support revenue growth initiatives. Travel as needed to support customer engagements and market development. Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; MBA preferred. Minimum of 8-12 years of experience managing strategic accounts in the energy, electrical infrastructure, or high-voltage equipment sector. Proven exposure to utilities, grid operators, EPCs, or industrial clients. Strong commercial and negotiation skills with experience managing long sales cycles. Fluency in English required; Spanish preferred. Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts across regions. Demonstrated ability to build and grow customer relationships. Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.
