Job Description

The VeriSight Intracardiac Devices Clinical Specialist will represent Philips' VeriSight Pro 3D ICE (Intracardiac Echo Catheter) to interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists. This is an entirely new sales and clinical team within Philips to commercialize the VeriSight Pro 3D ICE catheter. VeriSight enables advantageous 2D and 3D imaging for structural heart and EP procedures and is the first ICE catheter to miniaturize the same 3D imaging technology used in TEE.

Your role

The VeriSight Intracardiac Devices Clinical Specialist is accountable for building, maintaining, and providing outstanding technical and clinical product support, systems support, and sustained education to health care providers (HCP) and allied health professionals (AHP) around the VeriSight platform. They partner with the VeriSight Regional & Territory Managers, and collaborate with Philips teams across Ultrasound, Image Guided Therapy Systems & Devices, Training & Education, Field Service Engineers, and Field Management to align activities with VeriSight business objectives.

Because this is an expanding, entrepreneurial business, the role requires a hands-on approach with autonomy, initiative, and motivation to achieve individual and shared goals. It requires high clinical aptitude, a solutions-oriented selling and educational mindset, and strong internal and external communication skills while upholding Philips values and a world-class sales culture.

Become an expert on 3D ICE use across multiple clinical procedure types. Use consultative education techniques to identify customer needs, support, and opportunities within assigned geographies in partnership with the Regional & Territory Manager. Support evaluation of new products and provide clinical feedback to internal and external stakeholders. Provide ongoing support for company-sponsored clinical/marketing trials, registries, and educational events.

Work to improve clinical acumen, competitive product knowledge, customer relationship / sales / education skills to maximize case support capability through planning and scheduling. Maximize hospital stakeholder engagement pre/intra/post case to drive VeriSight educational awareness and support, including new program launches, physician and staff training.

You're the right fit if

You are a

Registered or Certified Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

in adult or pediatric echocardiography with relevant work experience in the IC/EP clinical environment.

You have 2+ years of experience in a clinical echocardiography lab with experience using Ultrasound consoles (Philips EPIQ) and advanced clinical ultrasound and echocardiography knowledge of technology and market trends.

You have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years of relevant professional work/military experience.

Your skills include:

Extensive knowledge of the medical device industry and product portfolios, preferably within structural heart and/or electrophysiology therapies.

Strong clinical and technical knowledge with the ability to engage physicians, clinical staff, nurses, department managers, and supply chain to present a value proposition.

Professional presence that influences results with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to determine customer needs and communicate them to Field Sales and Marketing.

You are an effective and timely communicator, a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, a problem-solver who can think critically in high-pressure environments, and a committed learner.

You must be able to perform the minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.

The ability to travel related to this role is required. Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% overnight locally, regionally, and nationally, sometimes on short notice.

You live within the territory for this role. You must live in or within commuting distance to Orlando for this role.

How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at customer or supplier locations.

Philips Transparency Details Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $154,000 to $190,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower depending on individual performance.

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and more. Details about our benefits can be found here.

Relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Orlando.
