Job Purpose

There are two main purposes for this role: First is to support the existing sales that we have to national accounts by entering orders, checking inventory or tracking, forecasting demand, and anything else related to elevating the customer experience for these accounts. The second is to help develop and support sales to new customers and areas that the company have identified as growth targets. This could mean cold-calling various types of customers, special projects related to national accounts, spearheading marketing campaigns into expansion cities or states, etc. Reasonable Accommodations

Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests. Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support. Prepare quotes and pricing that meet specific customer needs. Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales. Negotiate details of orders and payments and prepare sales order forms. Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports. Position Qualifications (Competency Statements)

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience
