Overview
SUMMARY: The US Sales Account Manager – Domestic Distribution is a sales-focused, revenue-driven role responsible for actively selling tire inventory stored within AOT’s domestic warehouse network. This position exists to convert on-hand inventory into revenue, accelerate inventory turns, and maximize margin through proactive account management, pricing execution, and rapid fulfillment within the tire industry. While the US Sales Account Manager partners closely with Operations and Logistics to ensure efficient order execution, the primary accountability is selling inventory, managing customer relationships, and driving profitable sales velocity. In addition, the role carries full ownership of assigned customer accounts and domestic inventory positions. Duties and Responsibilities
Drive sales of domestically warehoused tire inventory with a focus on revenue growth, inventory velocity, and margin optimization. Own assigned customer accounts as the primary contact for pricing, availability, order placement, and fulfillment coordination. Execute pricing strategies to support sell-through of current, slow-moving, or aged inventory. Align customer demand with available domestic inventory to enable fast, reliable delivery. Partner with Sales Leadership to identify promotional opportunities and targeted customer programs. Coordinate with warehouse partners and carriers to ensure accurate, on-time shipment execution. Supporting freight and fulfillment decision-making to deliver competitive landed costs Collaborate cross-functionally to improve order flow, reduce friction, and enhance customer experience. Track and manage key performance indicators including sell-through rates, fill rates, freight impact, and customer satisfaction. Proactively identify opportunities to shorten delivery timelines and improve service reliability. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and/or 3 to 5 years of direct tire sales experience or b2b tire sales experience or relevant industry experience is required. Demonstrated success selling physical product tied to warehouse availability and from domestic warehouse networks. Familiarity with automated warehouse or fulfillment environments Strong understanding of pricing strategy, margins, freight impact, and inventory economics Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft applications. Strong presentation and customer-facing communication skills Persuasive communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across Sales, Operations, and Logistics Ability to manage multiple customers, fast-moving inventory positions, and competing priorities.
