We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Account Executive (AE)to join our team. Based in Birmingham, the AE will play a critical role in growing our advertising business locally and across Alabama. The ideal candidate will be a proven sales professional with a passion for digital media, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong commitment to supporting the Birmingham community. Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities through leads, cold calls, networking, and referrals. Conduct discovery meetings to understand clients’ goals, challenges, and marketing needs. Develop persuasive proposals to meet each client's evolving needs leveragingour offerings. Maintain and grow client relationships, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction. Deliver confident, persuasive and engaging presentations to potential clients. Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with insights to maximize results. Handle accurate invoicing and ensure timely payments. Exhibit a positive, collaborative attitude that motivates the team. Accountability for your own work and a desire to provide guidance to new team members. Communicate effectively with management, content teams, and operations to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns. Proactively identify opportunities for product improvement and revenue growth. Address client or operational challenges with solutions-oriented approaches. Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return. Participate in team initiatives and assist colleagues when needed. Understanding of impact of your own efforts to meet sales quotas. Expertise in Digital Media
Demonstrate sales success and share goal attainment metrics from prior roles. Confidence to prospect and quickly build rapport with customers. Master our media products and services to craft effective advertising proposals. Ensure flawless execution of campaigns, meeting deadlines and expectations. Desire to broaden sales capabilities and knowledge base. What You Bring
A desire to learn and grow! Education: Bachelor\'s degree in business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field (minimum 3.0 GPA). Experience: 3-5 years of proven success in advertising sales, preferably in digital media. Skills
Independent, self-motivated, competitive, assertive personality Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills Persuasive communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities effectively Strong client service relationship-building skills Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Stress tolerance, especially with tight deadlines and financial pressures Passion: Strong appreciation for digital media, marketing, and communications Monday.comCRM experience is a plus Microsoft Office suite and social networking platforms skills What We Offer
Compensation: Guaranteed base salary. Uncapped monthly commissions. Bonuses for achieving quarterly goals. 3 weeks PTO, plus holidays and your birthday off.
