Clinical Sales Specialist for the Fresno, CA Territory . This role is highly clinical and field-based, focused on driving disease-state education and appropriate therapy adoption within complex specialty populations. The position requires a strong foundation in
cardiology or rheumatology , with additional value placed on experience in
rare disease
environments. The successful candidate will operate as a trusted clinical partner to specialist physicians and key stakeholders across the care continuum. Key Responsibilities
Execute a territory strategy to drive disease awareness, patient identification, and therapy adoption Engage in high-level clinical discussions with
cardiologists, rheumatologists, and specialty prescribers Build long-term, trusted relationships with key opinion leaders and high-value accounts Collaborate cross-functionally with
medical, market access, reimbursement, and patient services
teams to support patient access and persistence Navigate complex treatment pathways, referral networks, and payer landscapes Deliver compliant, scientific, and patient-centric messaging aligned with brand strategy Maintain accurate territory planning, forecasting, and CRM documentation Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
in
cardiology OR rheumatology Demonstrated success selling into specialist physician audiences Strong clinical acumen with the ability to communicate complex disease and treatment concepts Rare disease experience preferred
and considered a strong differentiator Proven track record of consistent performance and territory ownership
