Job Summary Optimum is looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals who want to reshape the way people connect. As a Small to Medium Business Account Executive, you will be in the field, at the forefront of innovation, forging connections, offering our customers best-in-class connectivity solutions, while delivering an unparalleled customer experience. You will be “boots on the ground,” working with business owners to create partnerships and help contribute to the success of the channel. You will guide them through our full suite of Optimum products and services, such as high-speed internet, TV, mobile and voice services, ensuring that their solution best fits their needs. Responsibilities
Prospect and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers in your assigned field territories using market-savvy skills, community engagement, and valuable lead lists.
Engage and Educate: Approach businesses with professionalism and explain the benefits and features of our telecom services.
Customized Solutions: Assess each customer’s needs and craft tailored telecom packages that meet those needs.
Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest offerings, pricing plans, and technology advances.
Sales Pitch: Deliver compelling presentations, address customer concerns, and overcome objections.
Closing Deals: Negotiate and close sales agreements to ensure customer satisfaction and commitment.
Documentation: Complete all paperwork, contracts, and sales reports accurately.
Relationship Building: Provide post-sales support to turn customers into lifelong advocates.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with peers to share insights and achieve team goals.
Targets and Quotas: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and quotas.
Compliance: Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and sales practices.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2–3 years of field sales to Small/Medium Businesses.
Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Proficient computer and technical skills to support customer solutions.
Reliable personal vehicle (where applicable), valid driver license, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
Physical abilities: ability to sit, stand, and walk as part of the role.
Ability to work full time.
Valid driver's license in good standing; ability to meet DOT driver qualification standards including a valid medical certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
Sales-centric mindset with a genuine passion for delivering results and building customer trust.
Extensive product knowledge of mobile and fixed-line services; ability to translate technical information for customers.
Digital proficiency with CRM, POS systems, and related software; ability to adapt to new technologies.
