Overview

The Account Manager will establish and grow client relationships across both federal, commercial, and research sectors. This role serves as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients, supporting the adoption of Phronetik’s precision medicine, genomic, and diagnostic solutions. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Account Manager will work closely with business development, project, product, and research teams to deliver client-focused solutions that drive revenue growth and strengthen Phronetik’s brand and market presence in both public and private sectors. Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, maintaining regular communication to ensure engagement and satisfaction. Build and maintain relationships with federal agencies, private sector clients, research institutions, and other stakeholders. Understand client needs and coordinate with internal teams to deliver appropriate solutions across projects, research, and technology offerings. Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address issues to maintain strong relationships and successful outcomes.

Sales & Business Development Support

Collaborate with business development and capture teams to identify and pursue new opportunities across federal and commercial sectors. Support proposal preparation, presentations, and client meetings, providing solution and product expertise. Track account activity, opportunity pipelines, and revenue forecasts, reporting progress to management. Identify potential upsell, cross-sell, or expansion opportunities within accounts.

Collaboration & Product Alignment

Partner with internal teams, including research, product, and technical staff, to ensure client needs are understood and solutions are delivered effectively. Provide client feedback to inform service enhancements and product development. Assist with client onboarding, training, and education for Phronetik’s technology and research offerings.

Compensation

Base Compensation: $50K - $62.5K (Part-Time) Variable commission is intentionally transparent, tied to generated gross commercial revenue, and designed to reward strategic impact. Early caps protect cash flow; ensuring high performers are not constrained as revenue grows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in account management, client engagement, or sales, ideally with exposure to federal, commercial, and research clients. Experience managing client relationships across multiple sectors is a plus. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Measurable Performance Metrics

Growth in client accounts and adoption of Phronetik’s services and platforms. Expansion and retention of high-value relationships across federal, commercial, and research sectors. Successful coordination of client meetings, demos, and presentations. Contribution to proposals and capture activities resulting in awarded contracts. Additional Information

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to client sites, conferences, or networking events (estimated 10–20%). Work Environment: Remote-first position with flexibility to work from home, client sites, or Phronetik offices.
