The Role The Role describes the position without door-knocking sales model and focuses on lead-provided inspections and proposals.
What You’ll Do
Perform thorough roof inspections (residential + commercial) and document findings
Measure roofs, create sketches, and build clear scopes of work
Create accurate proposals and present bid packages professionally
Communicate timelines, options, and recommendations clearly to customers
Learn and follow Elliott Roofing’s sales process and workflows
Support homeowners through insurance claim workflows when applicable (training provided)
Maintain a high level of organization: calendar, follow-ups, and commitments
Work safely and follow OSHA standards (fall protection and safety equipment provided)
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
Present proposals confidently and professionally
Build reliable follow-up habits (daily activity discipline)
Earn trust internally (production/admin) and externally (customers)
Must-Have Qualifications
Valid driver’s license
Comfortable working at heights and using ladders (safety-first mindset)
Organized and self-managed: can juggle multiple active customers
Coachable, competitive, and professional
Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
Roofing, construction, home improvement, or B2C sales experience
Experience with insurance claims/customer advocacy
Commercial roofing exposure
Compensation + Benefits (how we frame it)
W2 commission position — uncapped
(high earning potential)
Training period is salary-based pay
(ramp-up support)
