In our 40th year, Scientific Dust Collectors® (SDC), a Venturedyne LTD company, designs and manufactures high-tech and high-quality pollution control equipment utilized in a variety of industries across North America. We feature a Patented UniFlow Supersonic Nozzle™, which allows for an industry-leading cleaning system and a lower Carbon Footprint for our clients. We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to help us grow our business and become an integral part of our management team. The Sales Manager will work closely with the General Manager to achieve sales goals through our independent manufacturers' representatives network. The primary goal of this position is to build, develop, train, and motivate our North American representative network to increase company sales. What you will do
Educate, direct, and guide existing manufacturers’ representative network to identify and close sales opportunities. This also includes recruiting and training new representative networks in the United States and Canada. Identify, train, and work closely with new sales reps, OEMs, and engineering firms. Your duties are approximately 80% sales-related and 20% marketing-related. Assist with marketing campaigns and furthering the SDC Brand. As you learn the industry and technology, you will assist in developing new and/or existing product lines. What you will need
Experience interfacing with and managing a Manufacturer Representative Network. Strong preference for experience in the pollution control industry with a proven track record. Two to four years’ experience as an Account Manager or similar, with team management and sales training experience. Ability to travel to representatives, customers, and trade shows. Chicago-based opportunity in Alsip, Ill. – local candidates preferred. Travel is up to 25%. The individual is required to report to the office daily. No work-from-home option is being offered.
