Job Overview
The Credit & Collections Specialist Senior will be responsible for complex collection activities related to past due health insurance premiums and/or past due health insurance claims.
Location Location:
This role requires associates to be in-office 1‑2 days per week to foster collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work‑life balance. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a reasonable commuting distance from an office.
How You Will Make an Impact
Follows established guidelines and contacts the group to collect past‑due insurance premiums and/or claims.
Researches validity of past‑due and/or disputed debt.
Generates demand letters.
Prepares reports reflecting the status of credit and collection activities for management review.
Minimum Requirements Requires a high‑school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of commercial debt collection experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare or claims experience preferred.
Salary & Benefits For candidates working in person or virtually in the specified locations, the salary range for this position is $20.05 per hour to $31.45 per hour.
