
Account Manager – Oncology & Nuclear Medicine
Curium Pharma – Remote (Michigan & Northern Indiana)
Position Overview The Oncology/Nuclear Medicine Account Manager will develop and implement a business plan for the assigned territory, driving sales of approved products, building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and decision makers, educating customers, executing marketing plans, and establishing contracts. The role collaborates cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Medical Affairs, Legal and other stakeholders to ensure territory goals are achieved.
Essential Functions
Successfully manage the selling process in all assigned call points (physicians, nurses, nuclear medicine technologists, etc.).
Advocate for new Curium product additions to hospital formulary committees.
Meet or exceed sales targets for all products within the assigned territory.
Develop and execute growth‑centered business plans.
Maintain and protect market share in the territory.
Communicate to ensure territory success and customer satisfaction.
Utilize available resources efficiently to optimize the sales process.
Educate customers on product features, benefits, and applications within guidelines.
Develop and maintain relationships with NETs networks, KOLs, and advocacy groups.
Leverage managed‑care opportunities to drive sales.
Manage expense budget for the territory.
Adhere to company financial, administrative and ethical guidelines.
Travel beyond territory boundaries to support sales and customer education.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Maintain compliance with US and international regulatory agencies (FDA, EU, ISO, etc.).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Life Sciences or business); MBA preferred.
3+ years of sales experience in hospital, oncology, or specialized pharmaceutical areas.
Strong knowledge of oncology and NETs products.
Clinical experience or nuclear medicine background is a plus.
Proven sales success in consecutive years.
Experience in selling, negotiation and customer service.
Successful selling in a managed‑care environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Financial management skills.
Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Computer proficiency.
Time management and prioritization skills.
Travel required to support the customer base and business goals.
Working Conditions Field‑based sales/Account Management position requiring frequent travel, including some weekends, within an assigned territory.
