Job Summary The Major Account Manager partners with our customers to secure their entire digital experience. You’re motivated by the desire to solve critical challenges facing our customers’ secure environment, and you connect them with solutions at every stage of threat prevention. This role drives company revenue and growth, leading and driving sales engagements as a dynamic and experienced professional.

Your Impact

Drive and orchestrate large, complex sales cycles and work with internal partners and teams to best serve the customer

Use consultative selling experience to identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers

Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks solutions

Create clear goals and complete accurate forecasting through a detailed territory plan

Leverage prospect stories to craft a compelling value proposition and insight into value for that specific account

Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and services

Travel within your territory and to company‑wide meetings as necessary

Qualifications

Experience and knowledge of SaaS‑based architectures, ideally in networking and/or security

Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques

Technical aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems

Ability to identify problems, review data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions

Cultivate relationships with channel partners to bring a channel‑centric go‑to‑market approach for customers

Demonstrates in‑depth knowledge of the full sales cycle and ability to follow a structured sales process

Holistic approach to problem solving, understanding the bigger picture and complex interrelationships

Excellent time‑management skills, working with high levels of autonomy and self‑direction

Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non‑sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com‑missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. $264,000.00 – $363,000.00 per year
