Position Description The Outbound Sales Agent serves as the first point of contact for potential and existing clients, focusing on outreach, relationship building, lead generation and sales growth. This role involves engaging with leads through cold calls, agency outreach, and follow-ups to promote our products and services. The ideal candidate is a persuasive communicator with a customer-first mindset who thrives on building lasting connections while achieving measurable sales results. In support of the Corporate Solutions Team, they manage client inquiries by phone, email, or online to maintain client records and address client complaints.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively engage in outbound outreach to new prospects, agencies, and existing clients to introduce products and services, generate qualified leads, and drive new sales opportunities.
Identify, qualify, and nurture potential leads while maintaining a strong sales pipeline and consistent follow-up.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent outreach, professional communication, and exceptional customer service.
Conduct targeted outreach to partner agencies and businesses to expand the company’s reach and identify new collaboration opportunities.
Address inquiries, resolve concerns efficiently, and provide accurate information about products and services as well as client participation to ensure client satisfaction.
Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly performance goals, including call volume, lead conversion, and customer engagement targets.
Maintain accurate records of all interactions, leads, and transactions in the CRM system to ensure data integrity and follow-up efficiency.
Work with internal teams to elevate complex client issues, share client feedback, and contribute to continuous process and product improvement.
Stay informed on all company products, services, and industry trends to confidently educate clients and recommend solutions that fit their needs.
Understand internal processes and work collectively with the team to ensure they are precise and accurate.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in an outbound sales, telemarketing, or business development role with a proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Proven success in prospecting, lead generation, or outbound sales with the ability to meet or exceed performance goals.
Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences and build rapport quickly.
Experience using CRM systems (Dynamics 365 preferred) and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working with sales metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards to track progress and optimize results.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Track record of resolving customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and a positive attitude across phone, email, and chat channels.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.
