The General Sales Manager is responsible for leading the dealership's sales operations to achieve volume, gross profit and guest satisfaction objectives. This role provides strategic hands-on leadership across new and preowned sales, desking, inventory management and sales staff performance. Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop Sales Managers, Floor Managers and sales staff to achieve sales volume, gross profit and CSI targets. Establish clear performance expectations, monitor results and address gaps through coaching, training and accountability. Ensure consistent execution of structured sales process, including lead management, test drives and negotiations. Promote the company\'s guest experience culture with professionalism and a focus on creating long-term guest relationships; ensure all sales practices align with company standards. Work collaboratively with the General Manager and department leaders to align sales goals with overall dealership objectives. Review and analyze sales reports, KPIs and forecasts to drive data-driven decisions. Qualifications
Proven experience in automotive dealership leadership Strong understanding of dealership sales operations, desking, inventory management and Finance processes. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing sales team. Solid business acumen with the ability to analyze financial and operational data. Excellent communication, leadership and decision-making skills Previous experience with BMW strongly preferred. Benefits

$180,000 to $350,000 per year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including salary, commissions, bonuses, benefits (vacation and sick), etc. Employees in this position will be paid a base salary ranging from $96,000 - $144,000 per year. Commissions are expected to range from $84,000 to $254,000 per year based on performance. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
