The Contracts Associate I will support end-to-end contract lifecycle management in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This role partners closely with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and internal business stakeholders to ensure contracts and financial requisitions are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable navigating complex systems and workflows while managing a high volume of contracts. Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end contract administration, including receiving, submitting, monitoring, and tracking a high volume of contracts from draft through final execution Monitor and track requisition requests from submission through financial approval and purchase order (PO) creation Create and submit contract and financial requisition requests using SAP/Ariba and Coupa/Spend Source Research vendors to confirm active status and support new supplier onboarding or updates to existing suppliers Draft and route multiple contract types for review and negotiation, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Scopes of Work (SOWs), and Change Orders Serve as a liaison between internal business partners, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and external vendors to facilitate timely contract execution Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess contracting needs, revisions, and obligations Coordinate and monitor complex workflows to ensure contracts and requisitions progress in a timely and compliant manner Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience in contract management or contracts administration Demonstrated experience managing high volumes of contracts and requisitions Strong working knowledge of SAP/Ariba; experience with Icertis preferred Experience using Coupa or other spend management tools Ability to work autonomously, troubleshoot issues, and navigate ambiguity Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading and editing skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Customer-service mindset with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners Preferred
Experience in a large law firm or in-house legal department Experience within biotech, pharma, medical device, or other contract-intensive industries
