Spring Health is on the lookout for a dynamic Manager, Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our forward‑thinking team. This role is designed for a leader who is not only adept in navigating the complexities of the healthcare landscape but also brings a human touch to every interaction. This is a full‑time position on our team, reporting to the Director, Business Development. This position is based in our headquarters office in New York City, with a minimum of 2 days in‑office.
What you’ll do:
Strategic Leadership: Ability to grow and maintain a positive team and sales culture, alongside a strategic mindset for identifying and seizing opportunities.
Developmental Expertise: History of recruiting, hiring, and developing BDRs for long‑term success, committed to building a team that exceeds their targets.
Operational Excellence: Pinpointing and implementing improvements in processes, efficiency, and productivity to keep the team operating like a well‑oiled machine.
Collaborative Strategy: Proven track record of partnering with senior sales management and marketing to develop and refine a go‑to‑market strategy that is successful and scalable.
Analytical Acumen: Refine processes to be scalable, measurable, and predictable, and proficient in providing updates on effectiveness via data and sales reporting.
What success looks like in this role:
Drive measurable impact on pipeline and revenue: Lead and execute a BDR strategy that directly contributes to company pipeline growth and revenue goals, generating high‑quality leads and sales opportunities through targeted outreach and relationship‑building.
Lead and inspire a high‑performing BDR team: Build, lead, and mentor a results‑driven BDR team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Coach and mentor BDRs: Provide hands‑on coaching, call reviews, and real‑time feedback to help BDRs refine prospecting approaches and close more opportunities; mentor the team for career growth and development.
Pipeline management and forecasting: Regularly assess the team’s pipeline, ensuring BDRs generate enough opportunities to meet targets; provide accurate forecasting and reporting on pipeline metrics to leadership.
Training and development: Develop comprehensive training and onboarding programs to upskill BDRs, focusing on improving prospecting techniques, objection handling, CRM proficiency, and overall sales skills.
What you’ll bring:
Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience as a BDR Manager, with a history of achieving 100%+ quota.
Tactical Skills: Deep understanding of multi‑pronged sales strategies, proficiency in cold‑calling, and ability to train BDRs to be effective communicators.
Communication Mastery: Strong copywriting skills, able to evoke appropriate emotions and engage target audiences.
Mission‑Driven: Passionate commitment to working for a mission‑driven company like Spring Health, where work significantly impacts mental well‑being.
The target base salary range for this position is $106,400 - $138,400, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
