Primary Responsibility
Responsible for online product representation and providing customer service for the E-Commerce department.
Job Functions
Sort items to be posted for sale from donated goods.
Scan books to be posted for sale from donated goods.
Photograph and prepare written descriptions for online sales.
Upload information to software/website used for online sales.
Answer customer questions about the posted product.
Pack and ship sold items.
Refer customer issues to departmental management.
Physical Requirements
Medium work, occasionally exerting up to 50 pounds of force and/or up to 25 pounds of lifting, frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, reaching, handling, hearing, talking, seeing and repetitive movement.
Work Conditions
Inside generally 100%, however, may include outside work on occasion.
Moderate emotional effort. The work environment is occasionally hectic with occasional high stress. Short deadlines require some overtime.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
A minimum of one (1) year of retail experience is required.
Core Competencies
Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office suite.
Must be able to provide positive internal and external customer relations and to easily interact and work with individuals referred for training.
Demonstrate quality control and accuracy with product representation.
Accurately process paperwork according to policies.
Kaizen principles: follow the 5S Checklist, procedures, signage, and layout.
Supervision Received
Works under the direct supervision of the E-Commerce Manager.
