Overview

three+one has an opening for a dynamic Sr. Relationship Specialist. This position is responsible for partnering directly with clients to deliver three+one’s cashVest analyses and recommendations that drive customer success through increased savings, revenue, and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of public sector treasury management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. The role is critical to building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships that contribute to the firm’s overall performance. The position supports the full client lifecycle, including onboarding, data collection, analysis, recommendations, and implementation of success strategies. Reporting to the Vice President of Client Success, Retention, and Implementation, this role collaborates across internal teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality client experience. Responsibilities

Client Partnership and Retention: Shapes success strategies and refines methodologies to build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive communication, trusted advisory support, and delivery of measurable results. Drive new ideas to build long term client retention and satisfaction. Report Preparation: Review and refine cashVest reports, ensuring data accuracy, clarity, and actionable insights tailored to client goals. As needed, provide detailed feedback to report preparation team to drive customer success and improve the quality of reports and analysis. Data Analysis and Insights: Coordinate data aggregation and analysis to provide clients with accurate, meaningful financial reporting and recommendations. CRM Management: Maintain accurate client records within Zoho CRM to document engagement activities, outcomes, and value delivered, ensuring accountability and transparency. Client Communication: Present and explain analysis, results, findings, and recommendations clearly and effectively to a range of client stakeholders. RFP Coordination: Manage the RFP process, including document preparation, scheduling, coordination with internal teams, and evaluation of responses. Market Awareness: Monitor market and financial trends to identify opportunities for clients to enhance value and optimize resources. Financial Partner Collaboration: Work closely with clients’ financial partners to improve data sharing, strengthen relationships, and promote equitable financial arrangements. Client Lifecycle Management: Oversee all phases of the client relationship—from onboarding and training to ongoing engagement, portal utilization, and success measurement. Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor by anticipating and identifying opportunities to enhance the value of three+one’s analyses, products, and services Strategy and Program Development: Partner with the Vice President of Client Success, Retention, and Implementation to refine customer success strategies, develop supporting materials, and implement best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with senior leadership and internal teams to share insights, support growth initiatives, and identify cross-selling opportunities. Reviews, develops and improves business processes that cut across internal teams. Performance Metrics and Storytelling: Maintain and report on success metrics to demonstrate outcomes, reinforce client value, and support internal communications and marketing efforts. Client Engagement Travel: Travel as needed to conduct client meetings, represent the firm at conferences, and participate in professional development activities. Leadership: Mentors junior team members and provides feedback on training, tools and process improvements. Qualifications and Experience

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related fields is required. Master’s degree in a related field is a plus Any prior treasury management/investment management/banking experience is required Experience or understanding of the government and higher education sector is strongly preferred Experience in communications, marketing, sales, account management, or customer success. 8-10 years of relevant experience preferably in public financial management, treasury management or Higher Ed financial management Key Skills and Competencies

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$125,000 annually plus a retention incentive. It is important to three+one that potential candidates for this position understand that compensation depends on numerous factors including the geographic location where the role will be performed, skills required, experience, complexity, travel, and market rate. three+one aims to reward performance and attract top talent with competitive, fair pay and benefits.
