
Role Overview
As our Trade Sales Manager, you will be the face of our brands within the professional design community. Your primary mission is to get our exclusive products specified in high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Secondarily, you will curate a network of boutique outdoor furniture showrooms to act as regional touchpoints for our brand. This is a high-outreach role that requires a mix of design appreciation, furniture knowledge, and sales persistence. This position reports directly to the CEO. Key Responsibilities
Outreach & Specification:
Identify and pitch interior design firms, landscape architects, and custom homebuilders. Your goal is to own these relationships, get our product specified, and grow the trade sales vertical of our business. Trade Program Management:
Own the end-to-end trade professional experience, including proposed discounting, custom quoting, material samples program, and marketing coordination. CRM & Account Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for professional quotes, lead time inquiries, and custom orders. Build out our customer relationship management capabilities and tools. Industry Presence:
Use platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and local AIA (American Institute of Architects) chapters to build a database of potential A&D and homebuilder trade partners. Organize and host "Lunch & Learns," CEU (Continuing Education) sessions, networking events, and attend/display at relevant trade shows to generate leads. Showroom Partnerships:
Create wholesale pricing, materials, and programs. Prospect and sign independent outdoor showrooms to carry our products. Channel Expansion:
Lead efforts to introduce our products to gated wholesale platforms such as Lowes.com and HomeDepot.com. Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years in home renovation, furnishing, design, or building sales targeting the trade pro community Location:
Ability to be in our Cincinnati, Ohio office 50% of the time, with up to 30% travel. Industry Knowledge:
Deeply knowledgeable about indoor and outdoor furniture construction, finishes, and design trends Technical Skills:
Ability to interpret architectural drawings and site plans to suggest appropriate furniture layouts. Top to Bottom Ownership:

Base Salary:
$60k - $80k (commensurate with experience). OTE:
$100,000 – $120,000 in Year 1; significant upside as the portfolio matures. Commission:
Uncapped monthly commission based on Gross Profit. First 90 Days:
