As a Territory Manager – MEP, you’ll be part of our sales team as a remote employee based in the Boston, MA area. You will manage a territory of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) accounts or a combination of these accounts. You will be responsible for daily activities including in-person account visits and analyzing metrics to strategically map your routing schedule. While in the field, you’ll drive top-line sales through strategic initiative planning and sell-in opportunities with Key Decision Makers, End User Engagement, lead generation, and accountability against KPIs to ensure servicing standards and leverage territory relationships. Execute strategic plans using Go-to-Market strategy, product service, marketing programs, and targeted funds. Regularly call on Key Customers in the assigned area with daily travel to distributors, customers, events, etc. Achieve sales targets for Power Tools, Hand Tools, Accessories, and support key regional chains. Establish key relationships with Internal Teams, Distribution, and end users. Analyze Power BI and Salesforce data to develop strategic growth plans and improve financial performance. Set and pursue measurable performance goals to grow sales in the region. Apply product and market knowledge to drive sales and gain share with retail partners. Adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment. Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams; promote events and promotions with creativity and problem solving. Utilize field resources for distributor and end-user training and identify end-user conversions. Understand channel pricing structures and programming; communicate opportunities and issues to management and marketing. Manage travel and budgets (T&E and MAP) and field scheduling. The Person

You love to learn and grow, embrace innovation, and enjoy making a positive impact. You have: Bachelor’s Degree required (Business Management or Engineering preferred); Master’s Degree preferred. Relevant construction field experience could substitute for higher education. 3–5 years of sales experience in product, commercial, or industrial sales, or similar. Willingness to travel and maintain active territory engagement. Experience working on construction or end-client job sites. Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels to drive strategy and revenue. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR screening. Ability to pass drug and criminal background checks. Understanding of IT business systems (BW, Salesforce.com) and Microsoft Office applications. Capability to demonstrate and train on products; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform some light physical labor. Ability to travel frequently and maintain a valid driver’s license. Up to 50% local travel; up to 30% overnight travel. The Details
