Overview
Our media and technology client is seeking a Senior Communications Strategist to help shape campaign ideas into cohesive cross-channel systems. This role sits inside campaign and creative development, ensuring ideas are built for the real contexts people experience, not designed for TV and adapted later. You will connect communications strategy with creative execution to deliver consistency and impact across the customer journey. This is not a media role. Pay Rate: $75.00/hour Responsibilities
Design the campaign communications system, including channel roles, sequencing, messaging hierarchy and modular asset frameworks Partner with creative teams to develop channel-native ideas informed by platform behavior, formats and audience context Evaluate campaign ideas early to ensure they work across social, OLV, audio and OOH and identify where new mechanics are needed Define how ideas flex by channel, clarifying what remains constant and what evolves across environments Collaborate with communications planning and media teams to align messaging with placements, audience mindset and platform behavior Use performance and effectiveness insights to refine messaging, formats and sequencing and inform future briefs What success looks like
One strong campaign idea expressed clearly and consistently across channels Faster development cycles with fewer late-stage changes Strong creative and media alignment that improves performance by context Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in communications planning or communications strategy within an agency or in-house agency setting Proven ability to think systemically and build scalable frameworks across channels Strong collaboration, presentation and communication skills If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
