
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support a leading organization delivering technology-driven solutions for the agriculture and construction markets. This role is responsible for bridging high-level product strategy with technical execution by owning the product backlog, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and supporting roadmap development. The Product Owner partners closely with engineering leadership and product management to ensure business priorities are translated into clear, actionable deliverables.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for translating product strategy into clear, actionable development work by managing and prioritizing the product backlog, supporting roadmap development, and serving as a key liaison between product management, engineering, and stakeholders across the organization.
Create, maintain, and clearly sequence product backlog items to achieve business objectives
Write detailed user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria that engineering teams can execute without ambiguity
Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team, providing real-time clarification of requirements and removing functional blockers
Review completed work against acceptance criteria and make final determinations on work item completion
Communicate release status and manage stakeholder expectations as priorities shift based on market changes
Support Product Managers in defining mid- to long-term roadmaps informed by team velocity and technical feasibility
Identify and implement opportunities to improve the feature development and delivery process
Qualifications Required
3–5 years of experience in a Product Owner or similar role
Proven ability to lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and review sessions
Strong experience translating complex concepts into granular, independent user stories
Experience using objective prioritization frameworks such as RICE (Reach, Impact, Confidence, Effort)
Technical aptitude with the ability to understand system architecture, APIs, GNSS, and constraints within complex products
Proficiency with product management tools such as Jira or Aha! to maintain an accurate source of truth
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent related experience
Preferred
Experience working within a joint venture or multi-company ecosystem with overlapping or competing priorities
Understanding of agriculture or construction workflows and associated market cycles
