Overview

The Paramount+ Creative Marketing Team seeks a Sports Copywriter to write, proofread and edit various assets that position Paramount+ as a leader in premium sports content with various audiences. Responsibilities

Craft text copy for marquees and show pages. Write subject lines, pre-headers and body copy for various subscriber newsletters, as well as non-subscriber communications. Create performance, paid social and affiliate emails for various campaigns, series and live games and sporting events. Write audio ad copy for priority games and matches, with a proficient focus on UFC numbered fights. Create new and engaging strategies to communicate with our audience from push notifications to in-app messages. Help occasionally with additional marketing non-sports related requests, including marketing copy for News, CBS, and Paramount+ Originals. Edit and use storytelling to engage with fans about their favorite teams, coaches and rivalries. Basic Qualifications

5+ years’ demonstrated experience (not including internships) in copywriting, editing, proofreading, media and marketing. Experience with working within a brand guide and AP Style guidelines, as well as the ability to apply, maintain and apply style guidelines. Reports on-site five days a week either in NYC or LA office. Minimal travel required. Additional Qualifications

Deep interest for all things sports, especially UFC, UEFA, NFL, PGA, college football and basketball. Highly organized collaborator who thrives in dynamic environments, juggling multiple deadlines across diverse teams. Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Proficient writer and communicator with the ability to convey ideas clearly, confidently, and appropriately. What We Offer

Competitive salary range: Hiring Salary Range: $56,000.00 - 80,000.00. The range applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay depends on job-related factors such as location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
