
Position Summary
The Sr. Bids Specialist conducts new hire training, screens questions, manages escalations of team members. Ensures the team is maintaining professional working relationships with all vendors, investors, and clients. This role performs Bids Specialist work, training, and assists with reporting.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Obtain and review bid submissions and decisions
Identify and resolve potential issues in investor bid specifications, overall submission process, and communication with 3rd party bid applications
Review vendor work orders and identify more financial growth
Ensure team, along with QC, is preparing timely, well-written bids that align with investor guidelines
Follow up on pending bids and finalize for submission
Ensure investor/client decisions are accurately relayed to the GAM team and field vendors
Maintain financial accountability on behalf of the company - specifically ensuring the bid submissions and any partial approvals still meet the margin expectations
Develop new systems to streamline the bid process and increase efficiency
Schedule or run meetings as needed with support of your supervisor
Communicate daily and effectively with property preservation specialist
Screen questions from Bids Specialist thoroughly and provide training or feedback to ensure understanding of company and client guidelines and processes
Provide constructive feedback and coaching as necessary
Manage vendor and client escalation in accordance with management
Consistently meet or exceed company goals and deadlines
Conduct new hire training to ensure full understanding of team’s expectations, contract expectations and Bids Specialists ability to work independently.
Assist Bids Supervisor in creating and managing team reporting
Assist in identifying workflow issues or delays and review with manager for solutions
Other duties as assigned
