Physical Commodities Trader

to help develop and grow our physical trading activities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong commercial mindset, analytical capability, and interest in building long-term customer and supplier relationships in a fast-paced trading environment. Role Overview The Physical Commodities Trader is responsible for managing and growing physical commodity transactions, including sales, sourcing, trade execution, and coordination with internal operations and logistics teams. This role offers hands-on exposure to global markets, commercial decision-making, and end-to-end trade ownership, with meaningful upside as the business scales. Key Responsibilities Market Analysis & Strategy:

Monitor market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply-demand conditions to identify trading opportunities Customer & Supplier Development:

Build and maintain relationships with producers, suppliers, and customers to grow trading volume Trade Execution & Risk Management:

Negotiate and execute physical commodity transactions, including commercial terms, contracts, and coordination of logistics Commercial Growth:

Identify new products, markets, and counterparties to support business expansion Industry Engagement:

Participate in industry meetings, conferences, and networking events to strengthen market presence Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient trade execution Qualifications 2–5 years of professional experience; physical commodities, trading, or commercial experience preferred but not required Strong verbal and written communication skills Analytical and commercial aptitude with the ability to assess market data and financial risk Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills Authorized to work in the United States Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed Why Join Growth:
