Who We’re Looking For We are seeking an experienced and strategic social media manager to lead and execute our social media presence across all major platforms. This role requires a creative thinker with strong analytical skills who can translate brand goals into compelling content, drive audience growth, and deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate has proven hands-on social media experience in creating engaging content, managing brand accounts, campaigns, and communities on a scale.

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand, marketing, and business objectives
Own content ideation by generating original, platform-native content ideas that reflect brand voice and resonate with target audiences
Create social content directly, including copywriting, short-form video concepts, captions, and basic visual assets where appropriate
Collaborate closely with internal creative teams to brief, develop, refine, and launch high-quality social content
Own and manage social content calendars, ensuring a consistent flow of engaging, timely, and relevant content across all platforms
Translate campaign goals, product launches, and brand initiatives into compelling social-first storytelling
Stay ahead of social media trends, formats, and platform updates to inform content experimentation and innovation
Manage day-to-day publishing, scheduling, and optimization of content across platforms
Engage with audiences by monitoring comments, messages, and mentions while maintaining brand tone and community standards
Analyze performance metrics to evaluate content effectiveness and provide actionable insights to improve future content
Partner with internal stakeholders and performance teams to align organic and paid social efforts
Manage influencer, creator, or external agency collaborations as needed
Manage the video content producer role and collaborate on content creation to be able to translate brand strategy and campaign goals into clear video briefs and deliverables
Working knowledge of video production workflows, timelines, and resource planning
Qualifications
Proven track record of growing audiences and driving engagement across multiple platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook)
Strong copywriting and storytelling skills tailored to social media audiences with an informed understanding of AP style standards
Deep understanding of social media analytics, KPIs, and reporting tools
Experience with social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite)
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
Experience developing content calendars and campaign plans
Experience in understanding social media trends, platform updates, and using data analytics to optimize content and improve performance
Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
Working knowledge of basic design or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe, CapCut, Canva)
Military Veteran status or experience working with military or Veteran-serving organizations, or equivalent knowledge of military and Veteran culture, a plus
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience managing social media for a brand, agency or organization
5+ years of experience in social media management, with demonstrated experience leading or overseeing creative contributors.

$90,000.00 to $110,000.00
