Senior Creative / Web Specialist - Art Director

with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC. This is a 22-month contract with a potential for extension. Pay:

$33.84 - $38.84/hr ; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Location:

Hybrid - Charlotte or Raleigh, NC Description:

The Senior Creative/Web Specialist - Art Director is responsible for conceptualizing, directing, and designing high quality brand advertising, product marketing, and customer and employee facing communications. This role partners closely with copywriters, account managers, UX professionals, and creative leadership to deliver strategic, on brand work that aligns with business objectives and meets the expectations of the Creative Director.

Responsibilities

Deliver creative, effective communications that align with brand standards and voice.

Understand and execute against client strategies, key messages, target audiences, and project goals.

Produce work that is consistently on time and within budget.

Collaborate effectively with copywriters, account managers, UX, and other communicators.

Develop materials for a wide range of channels including:

Paid media (video, audio, animation, digital ads, social media)

Email and web (including Figma workflows)

Direct mail and print advertising

Present creative materials to clients, incorporating feedback constructively and professionally.

Maintain strong attention to detail and follow through from project initiation to completion and file archiving.

Work within established workflow processes and project management systems.

Provide expertise in effective messaging and guidance on applying style guide and brand voice.

Maintain and advance skills in design software, tools, and creative methodologies.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Basic / Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Experience in art direction and graphic, web, mobile, video/broadcast, and motion/animation design

Strong art direction and design portfolio

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote)

Desired Qualifications

Experience producing advertising, marketing, corporate, or customer facing materials

Recent experience developing integrated, multi channel communication campaigns

Strong conceptual thinking and ideation skills

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Highly organized; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently

Demonstrated commitment to producing accurate, high quality work aligned with *** brand standards

Knowledge of current communication and design best practices

Collaborative, adaptable, and team oriented mindset

Familiarity with major social platforms (X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta)

Experience with:

Microsoft SharePoint (document storage/management)

Workamajig (project management & time tracking)

10+ years of experience in relevant fields
