The pay range for this position is $25.40‑37.69 paid hourly, offers will be based on the successful candidate's experience.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead the end‑to‑end development, coordination, and submission of high‑quality proposals in response to SOQs, RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.

Collaborate with business development, technical, and leadership teams to ensure proposals are compelling, compliant, and aligned with division goals.

Analyze solicitation documents to determine requirements and create compliance matrices.

Maintain version control and ensure timely delivery of all proposal components.

Review and edit proposals for grammar, clarity, and adherence to brand and style guidelines.

Manage a proposal content library and contribute to its continuous improvement.

Track proposal metrics and performance for ongoing process optimization.

Ensure all proposals are competitive and support profitable growth.

Log all pursuits in the CRM, including milestones, submission details, client intel, and outcomes.

Support technical staff by minimizing their time spent on proposal preparation.

Prepare and deliver BD/CRM reports, keeping management apprised of deadlines and obstacles.

Proactively communicate proposal progress to management and stakeholders.

Develop and update company collateral materials and maintain on intranet.

Write and maintain resumes, project descriptions, and BD deliverables for inclusion in the BD Library.

Review lead sources, vet and distribute opportunities to appropriate personnel.

Keep social media, internet, and intranet fresh with relevant news and stories.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

2 Years Experience in proposal coordination, management, or technical writing (preferably in geoprofessional, engineering, or laboratory services).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Publisher, or proposal automation tools is a plus.

Understanding of A/E/C industry terminology and procedures.

Preferred Skills

Detail‑oriented, with excellent proof‑reading and editing skills.

Strong communication skills, clear, collaborative, and able to build trust across teams.

Creative with the written word; excellent grammar and narrative skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Aggressive with a pleasant demeanor; solution‑oriented and proactive.

Strong organization, prioritization, and project management skills.

Ability to recognize benefits and value propositions and translate them into compelling BD documents.

Knowledge of company practices, clientele, and goals.

Sense of aesthetic and design concepts for company materials.

Interest in learning and incorporating new ideas and processes.

Experience with government bid platforms and CRM systems is a plus.
