Contract Specialist

This is a contract role based in Boston, MA, with NYC as an alternative location, requiring onsite presence 4 days per week. The role is suited for senior paralegals or junior lawyers with experience in financial services, ideally from asset or investment management firms. A bachelor’s degree is required. Strong experience in contract drafting and negotiation is essential, with exposure to NDAs, RFPs, and related documentation preferred. The position focuses on contracting and documentation support within a Legal & Compliance function. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating investment management agreements and related documents, acting as a key liaison with internal legal and business stakeholders, and supporting improvements in legal processes and contracting technology (including AI and workflow tools). Candidates should demonstrate good business judgment, strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and an interest in legal process improvement and technology enablement.
