Daily Responsibilities As a Patient Care and Finance Specialist, you will work full‑time, in‑office, Monday‑through‑Friday with shifts of either 7 am – 4 pm or 8 am – 5 pm. Your day will include:
Reconciling daily deposits and posting payments and charges to patient and insurance ledgers.
Handling dental insurance billing and verifying patient benefits.
Reviewing and processing patient contracts and supporting documentation.
Responding quickly and accurately to employee and client inquiries by phone and email, resolving patient or insurance account issues.
Managing incoming and outgoing mail related to the finance department.
Answering incoming patient calls, making outbound calls, and scheduling appointments in our call center.
Collaborating with the patient care hub, sales, and concierge teams.
Providing daily reporting on key performance indicators.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of insurance coordinating experience.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Well‑organized with a sharp attention to detail.
Excellent knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Solid time‑management and prioritization skills.
Self‑motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain rapport with patients, parents, doctors, staff, and community.
Basic understanding of advanced math.
An associate’s degree is preferred.
Must have the ability to pass a background check.
