What You Will Do
Evaluate existing development, infrastructure, and release processes Identify gaps in automation, security, scalability, and reliability Define DevOps vision, maturity roadmap, and success metrics Architect end-to-end DevOps solution covering CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, environments, monitoring, and security Recommend and standardize toolchain (CI/CD, containerization, cloud, monitoring, and automation tools) Establish core CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks Create reference architectures, reusable templates, and best practices Enable DevSecOps and observability from the outset Define DevOps operating model, roles, and responsibilities Support onboarding and knowledge transfer to DevOps engineers Produce standards, guidelines, and documentation for sustained operations Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to leadership Act as a trusted advisor for DevOps transformation What You Will Bring
8+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps roles Proven experience designing and implementing DevOps strategies in enterprise environments Strong hands-on experience with: CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.) Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.) Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.) Strong understanding of security, compliance, and DevSecOps practices Ability to translate business goals into technical DevOps solutions Pay Range:
$110 to $120 per hour Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. Work Requirements
This role is considered a remote position with occasional visits to their office located in Erlanger, KY. Travel requirements:
Due to the nature of the work, 10% of travel may be required.
