A mission-driven professional services leader is seeking a Remote Solutions Architect for its team in Fairfax, VA. The Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in leading technical solution development and proposal efforts to support the company's government contracting initiatives, particularly with the Department of Defense. Solutions Architect Responsibilities

Research and analyze RFPs/RFIs to understand technical requirements.

Develop winning technical solutions and strategies for proposals.

Draft and compile technical volumes for proposals.

Collaborate closely with the Director of Proposal Development.

Provide technical expertise and support for customer meetings and discussions.

Represent the company's technical capabilities to prospective clients.

Maintain strong communication and coordination with the remote team.

Effectively manage time and workload in a fully remote environment.

Solutions Architect Requirements

Strong background in IT, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.

Hands-on experience with industry-standard software platforms like ServiceNow, AWS, Azure, and Splunk.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies as needed.

Effective communication skills for conveying technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills for collaboration with the Proposal Development team.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with shifting priorities.

While not an absolute requirement, a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Alignment with the company's collaborative and innovative culture.

A bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, IT, programming, or cybersecurity is preferred.

Some experience in sales, business development, or proposal writing preferred

Experience working with or supporting the Department of Defense and other government agencies. preferred

Exposure to technical proposal development and business development activities preferred

Broad technical expertise across IT disciplines like infrastructure, cybersecurity, and help desk operations preferred
