The Role We’re seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager dedicated exclusively to a major U.S. travel brand, helping one of America’s most iconic companies redefine travel inspiration and organic discoverability. This role will act as the content lead within an embedded, cross‑functional Earned & Owned team, working onsite up to 4 × a week at the client’s office in Dallas, TX. You’ll be an individual contributor and report to a Content Marketing Director and serve as the day‑to‑day strategic and operational lead for the travel client, driving forward content excellence in partnership with Wpromote and client stakeholders.

We’ll collaborate closely with Wpromote’s SEO, Analytics, and Strategy teams, as well as the client’s internal marketing, loyalty, and brand teams, to deliver best‑in‑class content that drives measurable business growth and supports the brand’s goal of becoming the leader in organic and AI search visibility.

Compensation The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $78,000 – $95,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. Wpromote’s pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third‑party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include the benefits listed above.

Eligibility

This role is restricted to candidates who currently reside in the Dallas, Texas area due to client requirements.

We have office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where you can join in on learning and development opportunities, fun events, take advantage of a space to work, and collaborate in person!

You Will Be

Leading the ongoing evolution of content strategy across digital channels, aligning with brand priorities, seasonal campaigns, and loyalty initiatives.

Translating SEO insights, AI search trends, and performance data into actionable, story‑driven content plans.

Developing and maintaining an integrated editorial calendar that connects content with marketing moments and business goals.

Partnering cross‑functionally with Organic Social, PR, and Paid Media teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and amplification across all touchpoints.

Overseeing the creation and refinement of content briefs, ensuring every asset supports both brand voice and measurable outcomes.

Collaborating with Analytics and SEO partners to forecast, measure, and communicate content ROI against KPIs such as traffic, visibility, engagement, and conversions.

Supporting testing and experimentation frameworks to evaluate and isolate the impact of content initiatives.

Contributing to the client’s Center of Excellence (CoE) by documenting learnings, frameworks, and scalable playbooks that advance overall content performance.

Continuously identifying optimization opportunities to strengthen discoverability and conversion throughout the user journey.

Serving as the day‑to‑day strategic content lead for the travel client, reporting to a Content Marketing Director, and acting as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders.

Building trust‑based relationships with the client’s internal marketing, brand, and loyalty teams, guiding them through data‑informed recommendations.

Partnering with cross‑functional leaders to prioritize high‑impact initiatives and streamline communication between teams.

Exploring emerging content formats and storytelling platforms — from AI‑driven search optimization to UGC, video, and social storytelling — to keep the travel brand at the forefront of digital engagement.

Staying ahead of trends in travel content, UX writing, and loyalty marketing, and proactively identifying new opportunities for growth.

Evolving the brand’s content hubs into editorial‑meets‑transactional ecosystems that drive both inspiration and conversion.

Encouraging experimentation and creative risk‑taking that pushes the boundaries of what travel content can be.

You Must Have

6+ years of experience in content marketing (travel, loyalty or lifestyle experience preferred); 1–2 years agency experience in a client‑facing role.

Strong understanding of SEO and content performance metrics.

Proven experience managing large‑scale content programs or multi‑pillar ecosystems.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills — comfortable interfacing with senior client stakeholders.

Experience collaborating cross‑functionally across SEO, Analytics, and Creative teams, proficiency in Google Analytics, GSC, Asana, and G Suite.
