Overview Hi, I’m Brayden, Founder at Sola, and I will be leading the hiring for this role. Millions of homeowners can no longer get affordable home insurance, and the process is often confusing, slow, and frustrating. We invented a first-of-its-kind weather data-driven wind and hail policy that reduces fraud and enables more people to get covered at a price that actually makes sense. We are growing fast and have partnered with thousands of agencies. To scale responsibly, we need a strong, consistent visual presence across all of our marketing and external surfaces. This role is critical to making Sola feel clear, credible, and differentiated as we grow.

About The Role You'll own visual design and brand execution across everything external: website, landing pages, email campaigns, social, and sales materials. You'll bring product-level UI rigor and systems thinking to how Sola shows up in the world. Making sure we feel consistent, credible, and intentional as we scale.

This role has meaningful ownership over how Sola looks and feels externally and will help shape how our visual and brand systems evolve as the company grows.

You will also contribute to shared patterns and systems that allow Sola to move fast without sacrificing quality or consistency.

What You’ll Do

Design and ship clear, high-quality visual and brand assets across web, email, social, and sales materials

Own the visual and brand design of the marketing website, and conversion-focused landing pages

Build and evolve our visual design system (typography, spacing, color, components)

Partner closely with Marketing and Content to translate strategy and narrative into effective visual execution

Collaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are responsive, feasible, and implemented with high fidelity

Maintain a high standard of visual quality across hierarchy, clarity, accessibility, and consistency

Ensure brand cohesion across all channels as new campaigns and assets are launched

What We're Looking For

3+ years as a Visual, Product, or Marketing Designer with shipped work

Experience designing websites, landing pages, email templates, and campaign assets

Built or contributed to a design system used across multiple surfaces

Strong visual hierarchy and UI skills focused on clarity and consistency

Proficient in Figma & Adobe suite

Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility best practices

Can collaborate closely with engineers to ship high-fidelity work

Communicates clearly and presents rationale well

Thrives with ownership and autonomy in a fast-moving environment

Compensation Range: $100K - $130K
