Job Summary The Arizona Cardinals are looking for a Video Content Producer, Social Platforms to join our Original Content team and help bring Cardinals stories to life in social-first, mobile-native formats.
This role sits at the intersection of Original Content and Social Media, translating team narratives, player moments, and real-time energy into vertical video that feels native to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This role collaborates on storytelling, access, creative direction, shooting and editing. You’ll focus on creating the content, while partnering closely with the Social Media team on platform strategy, voice, and distribution including trends, tone, publishing strategy, and performance insights. Our Video Content Producer, Social Media colleague is a shooter, editor, and idea generator who understands that great vertical content isn’t just cut-downs — it’s intentionally built for the feed, the moment, and the audience. You own vertical execution — from idea to final edit — across team moments, games, and culture-driven content.
This is a hand‑on, creative, and execution-focused position built around vertical storytelling (not just posting) focused on capturing and editing short form video content of real football moments and access.
Note: Applicants will be asked to link a portfolio or social accounts showcasing vertical video work (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) in the online application.
Primary Job Duties
Create social-first vertical video content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Shoot and edit content on mobile and professional cameras in real-time and planned environments
Capture game day, practice, events, player access, and behind-the-scenes moments with a vertical-first mindset
Collaborate with the Social team to align content with platform trends, timing, and audience behavior
Translate Original Content storylines into snackable, high-impact vertical formats
Edit quickly and creatively during live moments, including games and breaking news
Optimize content pacing, captions, hooks, and visual storytelling for performance
Organize and manage raw footage and finished assets for reuse and future storytelling
Track performance and apply learnings to future content iterations
Stay deeply tapped into NFL culture, internet trends, memes, and emerging social formats
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in film, broadcast production, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: At least three (3) years of experience creating, shooting, and editing short-form vertical video content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Creative Cloud suite a plus.
Proven ability to concept, capture, and edit vertical video that is native to social platforms (not repurposed cut-downs)
Strong shooting skills using mobile devices and professional cameras in fast-paced, real-time environments.
Proven ability to collaborate with multiple departments under fast-paced timelines.
Deep interest in the NFL, sports culture, and internet-driven storytelling.
Experience working with a professional sports team, league, media company, or brand is preferred but not required.
Must be able to lift 35lbs on a regular basis.
Must be able to stand and/or exert well‑paced mobility for periods for 8-10 hours in length.
Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
Must complete all pre‑employment forms and successfully pass a background check.
