The

Senior Human Resources Advisor

is responsible for providing advanced, specialized and administrative support to HR Services, HR Services clients and internal EBC business partner(s). Strategic partner helping to deliver best in class HR support, including but not limited to, account and project management, HR compliance, talent acquisition and retention, and training and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assists Manager, HR Services on the formulation and administration of plans and policies for human resources activities.

Acts as designee for Manager, HR Services, upon request.

Acts as a client consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resources issues.

Ensure client’s established policies and procedures are compliant with any relevant federal, state or local legislation.

Prepares and maintains special HR Services and client communications, tools and/or templates, as appropriate.

Advises on routine and non-routine questions for information on policy interpretation.

Assists with developing, coordinating and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow processes to best support HR Services, HR Services clients and internal business partner(s).

Develops methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects.

Conducts periodic audits of human resources activities to ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures.

Conduct research on changing legislation, attend webinars, seminars and training sessions.

Completes employee life cycle templates from new hire paperwork, job descriptions, recruitment tools and templates, termination documentation, COBRA letters, etc.

Deploys into the community to conduct onsite audits and workshops for Form I-9, Wage & Hour, FLSA, and employee files, as needed.

Develops and delivers training and materials, related to an assigned program or section area, including leadership, management 101 and annual Sexual Harassment.

Provides guidance with clients on performance, salary administration, succession planning, and management.

Collaborate with sales business partner(s) to support the sales process and increase client base and revenue growth.

Participates in professional development sessions or seminars and/or networking events.

Performs other support, projects and related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

BS degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required

3-5 years of relevant HR experience

2+ years of relevant HR compliance experience

Knowledge of or exposure to HR concepts and employment/labor laws and regulations (i.e. FLSA, Title VII, FMLA)

Ability to travel locally 2-4 times a week.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Experience with HR Information Systems

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail

Strong verbal and written skills, problem solving skills and analytical capabilities.

Must demonstrate judgement and discretion with sensitive material.

Highly thorough, organized, and dependable.

Preferred

Account and/or project management experience

At least one year of supervisory experience

SHRM-CP and/or PHR
