The Senior Employee Relations Representative provides support to St. Luke’s management and employees administering employee relations policies, programs, and practices across the entire system. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic remote team, supporting HR in the communication of St. Luke’s policies and practices in coaching and corrective action, attendance, non-discrimination, and other policies related to employee behavior. If you are action oriented with a drive for process, can work independently, and have previous Employee Relations experience - this role is for you. Work closely with St. Luke's employees at all levels of the organization to answer questions and convey relevant information related to Human Resources and/or St. Luke's policies and procedures. Communicates with employees, both formally and informally, who are involved in the coaching and corrective action process, to assist employees in understanding the process. Compiles necessary information to review with leadership prior to pursuing investigations or situations with potential legal or third-party risk. Serves as a primary resource to Employee Relations Representatives regarding employee/leadership concerns. Assists with and intervenes in issue resolution and problem-solving for the Employee Relations team. Collaborates with leadership to develop processes and programs to meet strategic goals. Develops and presents management training materials covering HR topics; develops supporting documents. Supports the administration of HR policies, including anti-harassment and non-discrimination, by conducting investigations, including employee interviews, when necessary, compiles information for review by leadership. Partners with the Privacy Officer and leadership to investigate and recommend the appropriate resolution to possible HIPAA, confidentiality and privacy breaches. Assists leadership in achieving SLHS's overall goals of ensuring fair and equitable treatment for all employees, while at the same time supporting management's goal of achieving a high performing workforce. Ensures the enforcement of the rights and responsibilities to employees with disability regarding reasonable accommodation and undue hardship as identified by the American with Disabilities Act (ADAAA). Coordinates with other HR departments and leaders in identification of reasonable accommodations to employees as appropriate. In conjunction with the CNO, determines board-reportable events and prepares notifications to appropriate board. Compiles reports, assembles and interprets data. Remains current on pertinent employment laws and regulations. May lead, develop and mentor HR staff, including responsibility for hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations, corrective actions, and terminations. Qualifications
