( one day per week on Wednesdays ) Duration: 12 Months Contract Pay Rate: $24-26/hr.(The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) Overview
Provide business function support in various power delivery settings. Primary responsibility for the position is data entry in the CDM module, which involves reviewing customer payment information and using internal systems to determine where payments should be applied; the work is repetitive and requires attention to detail. The business Analyst I will be primarily responsible for posting customer payments and will handle some specialized payment situations, as assigned, under general supervision. Responsibilities
Accurately posts all assigned manual and electronic payments to customer accounts. Daily research of check payments to determine corresponding customer account. Verify accuracy, research discrepancies and reconcile payment errors. Resolves and reports issues in a timely and accurate manner. Works on special projects as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills
Excellent organizational, mathematical, and analytical skills to ensure payments are posted correctly into customer accounts. Positive demeanor, good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently without close supervision. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Required
Bachelor's degree with minimum years' experience in specific area of expertise. Familiarity with power companies is a plus. Provide clerical and some administrative support. Utilize PC and mainframe applications, such as Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Time, EERS, and Passport proficiently. Develop customized reports provided by integrated systems, including Passport, PeopleSoft, Impromptu, etc, and MS Office applications. Use oral and written skills to present information.
