As a Principal Technical Marketing Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, you will play a key role in providing detailed technical information to our partners, customers, and our employees.
In this role, you will work with cuttingedge technology, redefining the future of Network security.
The individual will be responsible for products that protect data, workloads, and infrastructure for some of the largest enterprise customers in the world. Help the customers journey to the Hybrid cloud by ensuring they have the best in class protection. Develop and execute the Palo Alto Networks plan for SASE, including outbound technical communication, product best practices, competitive reviews, POC demo environments, and automation, while working closely with internal stakeholders. Review PRDs and engineering specs and provide feedback. Document technical concepts to ensure our products are well understood and utilized to the greatest extent possible.
You work well independently and excel at identifying the potential sales needs of our clients and shaping the direction of the companys products. Technical Marketing Strategy: Develop, continuously refine, and execute the technical marketing plan for critical accounts to drive engagement and sales
Content Creation: Create, maintain, and deliver effective technical tools, whitepapers, demos, videos, and technical training for sales teams, customers, and partners
Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive research and testing to identify key advantages of our product lines and effectively communicate them to sales, customers, and partners
Technical Evangelism: Act as a key technical evangelist for Palo Alto Networks, speaking at seminars, conferences, customer briefings, and internal meetings
Product Enhancement: Collaborate with engineering to identify product gaps based on competitive analysis and work with Product Management (PM) to drive enhancements
Serve as the domain authority on Palo Alto Networks products, providing Systems Engineers with information on competitive questions
Document technical concepts to ensure our products are well understood and utilized to their fullest potential
Product Testing: Customer Focus: Maintain a passion for the customer journey, user experience, and usability with a knack for simplicity
8+ years of experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer in the network/cybersecurity field or as a DevOps/Solution Architect, preferably for networking or SDWAN
~ Networking, Routing, Switching, Automation experience working with APIs, AI tools, Virtualization, Cloud Infrastructure knowledge: GCP, AWS, Azure, OCI is a big plus.
~ Prior experience with networking is a must.
~ Ability to deliver highquality work in an agile, fastpaced environment.
~ Strong focus on enduser experience and data visualization tools and technologies.
~ Capable of communicating at both business and technical levels with internal teams, customers, partners, and executives.
~ Strong customer advocacy skills with experience in handling difficult customer situations.
~ Experience in writing and editing technical documentation and operational procedures.
~ Knowledge in building and maintaining POC and Demo environments.
