Provide strategic leadership and direction for all cardiovascular services, including inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards specific to cardiovascular care. Develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while achieving financial goals. Lead initiatives to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes in cardiovascular care, integrating the latest evidence-based practices. Act as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff, providing guidance on complex cardiovascular cases and promoting best practices. Candidate requirements
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in cardiovascular services, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required. Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
